Two people were killed early yesterday morning when their car flipped over at least two times on Route 66 in Westmoreland County, state police said.
Taffeda Finch, 24, of Greensburg, and Jason Pravlik, 25, of Mount Pleasant, were both ejected from a 2002 Ford Focus around 2:30 a.m. in Hempfield.
Ms. Finch was driving at the time of the accident. It's unclear why she lost control of the vehicle, police said.
Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene. Northbound Route 66 was closed for about three hours after the accident.
