UPMC said Alan Steckel, M.D., Thomas Wein, M.D., Ellen Berne, M.D., and Michele Organist, M.D., would join UPMC on Dec. 1. They formerly were affiliated with West Penn Hospital of the West Penn Allegheny Health System. Drs. Steckel and Wein specialize in both internal and geriatric medicine. Drs. Berne and Organist specialize in internal medicine. Their practice, Health Center Associates-UPMC, will have offices in Monroeville, Harmarville and Green Tree.
